JAMMU, Nov 22: Sainik School Nagrota emerged as the overall champions at the Sahodaya Athletics Meet 2025 held at Doon International School, Chowadi, here today. The cadets showcased exceptional performance, securing 14 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
In Shot Put, Stanzin Nangsal (U-14 Girls) and Om Singh (U-16 Boys) won Gold. Discus Throw Golds were claimed by Mohd Laeeq (U-14 Boys), Srishti (U-14 Girls) and Anjana Kumari (U-16 Girls), while Viraj Katyal (U-16 Boys) took Bronze. In Long Jump, Akshita Sharma (U-14 Girls) and Sneha Vishwakarma (U-16 Girls) secured Gold, with Samrat Singh (U-14 Boys) earning Bronze. Triple Jump saw Gold medals from Suhani Verma (U-14 Girls), Rudra Ranjan (U-14 Boys), Krti Sharma (U-16 Girls), and Akarsh Raj (U-16 Boys). In Javelin, Sai Sannidhi Mishra (U-14 Girls) and Nivriti Namaya (U-16 Girls) won Gold, while Rameshwar Rajbhar (U-14 Boys) took Silver. High Jump Gold went to Lasya Priya (U-14 Girls), with Bronzes from Rohan Preet Singh (U-14 Boys) and Peavel Rani (U-16 Girls). The Principal congratulated the cadets and staff for their remarkable achievement.
