St. Xavier’s School Shahbad holds Annual Day

DELHI, Nov 17: St. Xavier’s School, Shahbad, Rohini celebrated its Annual Day with great splendour, showcasing the theme “A Journey Through Time – From the Ancient Gurukul to the Future AI-Led Classrooms.” The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of students, parents, educators and distinguished guests.
Chief guest for the evening was Veditha Reddy, Director of Education, Directorate of Education, GNCTD, who inspired the students to “aim for the sky” and acknowledged the irreplaceable role of teachers in shaping young minds. Guest of honour, Shubham Kumar Jha, Senior Software Engineer at Amazon and a proud alumnus, added motivation and pride to the occasion through his presence.
The school community was further honoured by Manager Glenn Menezes SJ, Principal Packiam M., SJ, Headmistress Vandana CJ, and several Fathers, Sisters, principals, and academic heads from neighbouring institutions, whose presence added grace to the celebration.
In his address, Principal Packiam M., SJ highlighted the school’s motto, Prem Prerit Sewa, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, character formation, and holistic development. He reaffirmed the school’s mission to groom compassionate and value-driven future leaders.
The programme featured a vibrant array of performances, including dances, theatrical presentations, yoga displays, and thematic acts depicting the evolution of education and culture. Students were also felicitated for achievements in academics, sports, and other excellence awards.
