JAMMU, Nov 14: Shantul Raina’s brilliant innings propelled the University of Jammu into the finals of the All India Vice Chancellor’s T-20 Cricket Tournament at LUVAS University, Hisar, as they defeated LUVAS University Hisar by 34 runs.
The University of Jammu scored 222 runs in 20 overs, with Shantul Raina contributing 121 runs, supported by Vishal (63) and Balwant Singh (15). For LUVAS, Parveen Sangwan took 2 wickets, while Rakesh and Amit claimed one each.
Chasing 223, LUVAS University managed 188 runs for 10 wickets, with Yogesh Sehrawat (52) and Vikas Kharab (33) leading the innings. Karan Sharma starred with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 26 runs, alongside Balwant Singh and Raj Kumar Bakshi. Shantul Raina was named Man of the Match.
