SAMBA, Nov 6: Dogra Law College celebrated the outstanding achievement of its students at the Surana & Surana National Moot Court Competition 2025, held at Department of Law, University of Jammu. The event, which attracted top law institutions from across the region, was graced by distinguished guests, including Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Justice Mohd Yusuf Wani, Justice Sanjay Parihar (High Court of J&K and Ladakh), Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Rai (Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu), and Preetam Surana (Partner – Dispute Resolution, Surana and Surana International Attorneys, Chennai).
The team from Dogra Law College, comprising Danish Tak, Shaleeza Shabir, Yogita, and Mehak Mahajan, displayed exceptional skills in legal research and advocacy. Yogita, a 9th-semester BA LL.B student, was awarded the Best Advocate Award and a cash prize for her persuasive arguments and exceptional courtroom performance.
