Sahil elected as President of J&K Padel Association

JAMMU, Sept 21: Sahil Aggarwal has been elected as the President of the Jammu and Kashmir Padel Association, as announced by Ronnie Sehgal, General Secretary of the Indian Padel Federation. The sport of padel, a fast-growing racquet sport, is gaining popularity in Jammu, especially among the youth.
Aggarwal, known for his active involvement in various sports, takes on the role with a clear vision to promote padel at the grassroots level. He expressed gratitude to the Indian Padel Federation for their trust and outlined his commitment to not only advancing the sport but also contributing to the social well-being of the youth.
“Through physical fitness and mental well-being, we aim to divert the youth from drug abuse and excessive mobile usage,” Aggarwal said. He emphasized the association’s mission to offer healthier lifestyle choices and build a sporting culture in the region.
Under his leadership, the Association plans to conduct awareness programs, training camps and tournaments to strengthen the sport’s foundation in Jammu and Kashmir. Aggarwal also mentioned that the names of other office bearers will be announced soon.
