JAMMU, Sept 19: Army Public School (APS) Sunjuwan inaugurated its Indoor Shooting Hall today, marking a significant stride towards promoting sports excellence and holistic development among students.
The facility was formally inaugurated by Deepali Kamatnurkar, Chairperson FWO, Strike 36, along with the Chairman APS Sunjuwan, Commander 36 Infantry Brigade, in the presence of officers, parents, teachers and students. Senior officials from the Federation of J&K Rifle Association also graced the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Kamatnurkar encouraged students to explore shooting as a sport that instills confidence, concentration and self-discipline. The newly established facility, equipped with modern infrastructure, provides a safe and professional environment for training.
The initiative is in line with the School’s vision of nurturing academic brilliance alongside physical fitness and sportsmanship. With this addition, APS Sunjuwan reaffirmed its commitment to offering world-class opportunities in academics, sports and co-curricular activities, preparing students to meet future challenges with confidence.
