Asmita Women’s Wushu League 2025 concludes

SRINAGAR, Sept 17: The closing ceremony of the Asmita Women’s Wushu League 2025 was held today at Indoor Stadium, Polo Ground, Srinagar.

Kuldeep Handoo, Dronacharya Awardee and chief coach of India, graced the event as chief guest. He praised the league for empowering young female athletes and urged them to pursue excellence at higher levels. The ceremony was also attended by Sadat Aslam Wani, Vice President Wushu Association of J&K and Hilal Ahmad, Manager of the stadium, along with senior office bearers of the Wushu Association. Medals were distributed to the winners and the Open Kashmir Wushu Championship 2025 was formally inaugurated. A Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mohammed Maqsood Rather, reaffirming the Association’s commitment to developing Wushu across the Union Territory.
