JAMMU, Sept 11: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Dogra Degree College (Autonomous) organised an Inter-Departmental Idea Pitching Competition on campus, providing a platform for students to present their innovative ideas, entrepreneurial skills, and problem-solving abilities.
The event began with a welcome address by Amarpreet Kaur, Convener, IIC. Students from various departments participated with enthusiasm, showcasing creative and socially relevant ideas that reflected their commitment to innovation and academic excellence.
The competition was held under the guidance of Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College, who motivated the students to nurture their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
The panel of judges included Rakesh Mohan Koul, HoD, BBA & B.Com and Balwant Singh, HoD, B.A, who evaluated the ideas based on originality, feasibility and social impact. Winners included Gurdeep Singh & Vidushi Rajput (B.Com 5th Semester), Bhargavi (BBA 3rd Semester) and Akansha Sharma (B.Com 3rd Sem), respectively. Monika, Assistant Professor, delivered the vote of thanks.
