Ladakh Senior Girls Football Team flagged off for National C’ship

LEH, Sept 6: The Senior Girls Football Team of Ladakh was officially flagged off today to participate in the 30th Senior National Women’s Football Championship (Rajmata Jijabai Trophy) 2025-26, to be held in Amritsar, Punjab.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by Bhanu Prabha, Secretary, Youth Services & Sports, UT Ladakh; Sumera Shafi, Under Secretary, Sports; and Tsering Angmo, General Secretary, Ladakh Football Association. The team will be led by Head Coach Stanzin Gilik, Assistant Coach Rohan Darjee, and Team Manager Sadhana Rai.
The UT Administration and the sports community extended heartfelt wishes to the team, encouraging them to play with passion and represent Ladakh with pride on the national stage.
