JAMMU, Aug 24: The Jammu District Yoga Sports Championship 2025 was organized by Yoga Association of J&K under the aegis of the J&K Olympic Association at Brahma Kumaris’ Om Shanti Meditation Centre, Jammu. Over 120 boys and girls from various schools and institutions participated.
The event was inaugurated by Brahma Kumaris through a candle-lighting ceremony. Sudarshan Didi was the chief guest, while Ravinder Bali was the guest of honour. Vinod Bhatia, Secretary General and other dignitaries felicitated the winners.
Winners across various age categories showcased exceptional talent. In the 8-10 years group, Shivansh and Gursimran claimed top spots. Aadhya Gupta and Bhavya Sharma led the 10-12 years category, while Arnav Singh and Sadhya Sharma topped the 12-14 years group. Mridul Raj Gupta and Nitya emerged winners in the 14-16 years category. In the senior categories, Sandeep Kumar and Chahat dominated the 16-18 years group, while Himanshu Verma and Nandini Sharma secured first place in the 18-21 years category.
