JAMMU, Aug 13: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu, conducted selection trials for the U-15 Volleyball World Championship (Boys & Girls) today at Khel Gaon, Nagrota. The trials aimed to identify top young talent for upcoming competitions. A total of 75 participants showcased their skills, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for Volleyball among youth.
Following rigorous assessments by departmental experts, 8 boys and 8 girls were selected to represent the district at the next competitive level. The trials were conducted under the supervision of Bandana Sharma, PEL of district Jammu. The selected players will receive further guidance and training in preparation for the championship. Details regarding the next level of competition will be announced soon by the department.
