JAMMU, July 11: Jammu Sanskriti School here today inaugurated CBSE Kho-Kho Cluster XVIII North Zone-II (NZ-II) Boys & Girls Season 2.
The event brought together 14 schools, 23 participating teams and 255 students from North Zone-II.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp followed by a welcome address by Avneet Kaur Budhraja, Vice Principal.
Bhupinder Singh, founder of J&K Kho Kho Association & International Coach (Kabaddi and Kho Kho) was chief guest on this occasion and he lauded the institution for unwavering commitment to promoting discipline, teamwork and athletic excellence among the students.
Bhavna Singh Jamwal, Headmistress (Primary Wing) declared the tournament open.
The smooth conduct of matches was coordinated by Tarmeet Raina, Administrative Officer in collaboration with the Sports Department.
Rohini Aima, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, emphasized the integral role of sports in holistic education and inspired students to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity.
