UDHAMPUR, July 6: In an effort to promote newly introduced sport of Goal Shot Ball in Jammu and Kashmir, the Goal Shot Ball Association of J&K formed its Udhampur district unit during a general body meeting held here today.
The meeting was attended by players and prominent individuals from Udhampur, who unanimously supported the creation of a district-level body to nurture talent and create awareness about the sport.
Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary of the J&K Association, informed that the move aims to provide a structured platform for youth in the region to engage in this emerging sport.
Manmeet Singh was elected as President and Vishwa Mitar as General Secretary of the newly formed Udhampur unit. Both pledged to organize regular events, identify budding talent, and actively promote Goal Shot Ball in the district. Other office bearers include Rishi Kumar Sharma (Treasurer), Vinod Kumar (Senior Vice President), Sanjeev Kumar Khajuria and Sourab Pandit (Vice Presidents), Sanjeev Kumar and Ravi Kumar (Joint Secretaries) and Sanjay Sharma, Pawan Kumar Jamwal, Vipin, Nitika Sharma, and Pallvi Choudhary (Executive Members).
