JAMMU, June 20: Dogra Degree College, under the aegis of its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully concluded a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Digital Governance (ERP) and NAAC Quality Benchmarking” with a valedictory session in the college conference hall.
The event was graced by Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust; Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary; Dr. Bela Thakur, Director and Principal; Dr. Dharamveer Sharma, Dean; and Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator, Dogra Educational Trust.
Rakesh Mohan Koul, HoD (BBA & B.Com) and Co-Convenor of IQAC, presented a detailed report on the programme, covering key themes like ERP implementation, NAAC alignment, research methodology, and innovation in teaching. In his address, Charak lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of lifelong learning for educators. “A teacher never stops learning,” he said, urging the college to continue such initiatives.
