SRINAGAR, June 4: The upcoming Epic Victory Cricket League (EVCL) has received an overwhelming response from aspiring cricketers across Srinagar and other cities, prompting the management to open additional registration slots for its highly anticipated trials. The trials are scheduled to take place on June 28 at Doon International School, Srinagar.
Launched earlier this year, the EVCL aims to provide a transformative platform for emerging cricketers in Jammu & Kashmir, alongside participants from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and other States. The league promises a rare opportunity for young talents to compete and gain exposure alongside domestic and international players.
“This is not just a tournament; it’s a platform to change lives. I urge all young cricketers of J&K to participate,” said Praveen Kumar, League Commissioner, EVCL.
Trials are open to male cricketers aged 14 to 39 and will be overseen by selectors from state cricket associations and the EVCL apex council. Registrations are live at www.evcl.co.in.
The league will be broadcast on a major OTT platform in seven languages, including Kashmiri and Dogri, marking a first in regional cricket broadcasting and making the event accessible to a wider audience across the region.
