JAMMU, May 29: Mountaineering Association of J&K, in collaboration with Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, will organize a Sport Climbing competition on June 5, at the Tenzing Norgay Wall in the school campus. The event aims to identify talent for the upcoming Asian Kids Sport Climbing Competition and will be followed by a 15-day coaching camp for 25 selected climbers.
Top performers will also be considered for national competitions and advanced training. Boys and girls born in 2012 or later are eligible, with additional categories for older participants. The event will be held under the supervision of Shawetica Khajuria, with Sonam Sidharth as Organizing Secretary and support from international and national climbers. Entry deadline is June 3.
