Safran clinches 6T Spring League 2025 title

JAMMU, May 4: Safran Cricket Club clinched the 6T Spring League 2025 title with a dominant 8-wicket win over Amigos Cricket Club in the final at Country Cricket Stadium.
Amigos, opting to bat first, managed 145/8 in their 20 overs. Zeshan led the scoring with a gritty 50 off 38 balls, supported briefly by Sohan Singh (18) and Shailender Slathia (15). Safran’s disciplined bowling attack, spearheaded by Sarthak Khoda (3/36), with key contributions from Surya Udhay Singh (2/22) and Pradeep Singh (2/24), kept the scoring in check.
In response, Safran chased down the target in just 14.3 overs. The star of the match was Shaurya, who played a sensational unbeaten knock of 89 from 43 balls, smashing 10 fours and 5 sixes. Rohit (23 off 25) gave solid support, while Lazit Sharma and Sukhiee guided the team to victory.
At the awards ceremony, Rohit Sharma (Amigos) was named Man of the Series, Sandeep Bali (JPC) won Best Batsman, and Shikhar Tandon (Safran) took home Best Bowler honours. The win capped an exceptional campaign for Safran, cementing their place as the top team of the season.
