KCCC, KC Motors register emphatic wins

JAMMU, June 16: KC Motors and Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) registered resounding wins over their rivals in the ongoing Chevrolet T20 Cricket Cup 2014 at KC Sports Club ground, here today.
Earlier, in the 2nd match of the tournament between KC Motors and KC Hyundai, the former registered 20-run win over the latter.
Batting first, KC Motors scored a mammoth total of 192 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sahil played a magnificent innings of 83 runs, while Saurav contributed valuable 50 runs to the total. Vinod Pandita claimed 2 wickets for KC Hyundai.
In reply, KC Hyundai managed to score 172 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, thus lost the match by 20 runs. Manjeet and Irfan contributed 60 and 56 runs to the total respectively. Amit took 3 wickets for 25 runs for KC Motors. Sahil was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant 83 runs.
In another match, KCCC drubbed SCC in an easy contest. Batting first, SCC scored 104 runs in 19.3 overs. Govil scored 40 runs, while Surinder chipped in with 23 runs. Vimarsh Kaw took 4 wickets for 15 runs, while Sahil and Soumay Jain took 2 wickets each. KCCC surpassed the target in 9.2 overs. Hritik top scored with 30 runs, while Vimarsh Kaw contributed 21 runs to the total. Vimarsh Kaw was declared man of the match for superb all-round show. The man of the match winners were awarded coupons worth Rs 1000 each from Westside. The prizes are being sponsored by KC Motors, Narwal, Jammu.
