JAMMU, Feb 19: The much-anticipated Annual Day celebration of Manjushree students at Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, took place today, under the theme ‘Canvas of Dreams’.
The event was graced by Geetanjali Mahajan, an alumna of the school and a renowned educationist, who attended as the chief guest. Miriam, the School Manager and Amelina Rodrigues, Principal, along with other members of the School Management and parents, were also present to witness the vibrant occasion.
The celebration featured a series of captivating performances, including a Friendship and Flower Dance, Rajasthani Dance, Dogri Dance and a lively Zumba performance. A thought-provoking skit, “Rainbow Fairies,” emphasized the strength of unity in overcoming obstacles. The students also performed the five elements dance, which conveyed a powerful message on environmental conservation.
The event’s highlight was the prize distribution ceremony, where students received certificates and medals for their excellence in academics and co-scholastic activities. Geetanjali Mahajan applauded the school’s dedication to nurturing both intellect and creativity in young minds.
