JAMMU, Nov 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) facilitated its Ranji Trophy players for their stellar performances in the ongoing season during a special event held today. Sub Committee Members Brigadier Anil Gupta (Member Administration) and Mithun Manhas (Member Cricket Operations and Development) presided over the ceremony, presenting accolades to the players.
Paras Dogra was felicitated for his unmatched consistency, holding the record for the most centuries among active Ranji players and ranking third in all-time Ranji Trophy runs. Shubham Khajuria received accolades for his historic 255-run knock against Maharashtra, the highest individual score by a J&K player in Ranji history.
Abdul Samad was lauded for his explosive batting, recording his first five centuries in under 100 balls each, including a milestone performance against Odisha, where he became the first J&K player to score a century in both innings. Abid Mushtaq was recognized for completing 100 First-Class wickets, while Auqib Nabi was felicitated for claiming five 5-wicket haul in just four matches.
