ANANTNAG, Nov 14: Anantnag Police organized a special cricket match for specially-abled individuals in memory of Martyred DySP, Hamayun Muzamil here today, at District Police Lines (DPL) Anantnag. This event aimed to honour the late officer while promoting inclusivity and empowering specially-abled individuals through sports.
The match featured two teams, Anantnag Blues and Anantnag Whites, in an exciting game that saw Anantnag Blues secure victory by 44 runs. SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, served as the chief guest and inaugurated the event, emphasizing the significance of sports in fostering unity, inclusivity, and empowerment among all members of society.
Trophies were presented to both teams in recognition of their participation and effort, with Anantnag Blues taking home the winner’s trophy.
