JAMMU, Nov 14: MV International School hosted a prestigious two-day training of trainers’ certification course, organized by the CBSE Centre of Excellence (COE) Chandigarh, to empower educators from across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Seventy-one Principals, Vice Principals, Headmistresses and and teachers attended equipping them with advanced training techniques to enhance education in their regions.
This collaborative effort with the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), New Delhi, featured Master Trainers Gunjan Gandhi, Joint Director at ISTM, and Sharad Nautiyal, former Joint Director of Skill Development in Madhya Pradesh. Their interactive sessions incorporated hands-on activities, emphasizing effective adult training practices.
Poonam Mendiratta, Principal of The Manthan School in Greater Noida West, shared insights on the National Education Policy 2020, focusing on experiential learning and aligning training outcomes with modern educational goals. Principal Kundan Lal Dogra of MV International School praised participants’ dedication, emphasizing the training’s transformative potential for the educational landscape of the Union Territories.
Manoj Srivastava, Director of Training at CBSE, underlined the national significance of creating 15,000 resource persons across India to support NEP 2020. This initiative at MV International School is a crucial step in cultivating a network of skilled educators ready to elevate teaching standards in J&K and Ladakh, aligning with CBSE’s commitment to progressive education.
