GD Goenka, APS BD Bari triumph at Goenkan Lit Fest 2024

JAMMU, Oct 19: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, hosted the Goenkan Lit Fest 2024, an inter-school literary competition celebrating the power of creativity, articulation, and intellectual engagement. Students from renowned schools across Jammu participated, fostering healthy competition and collaboration.
Senior Wing Coordinator, Varsha Billawaria, welcomed participants, underscoring the Lit Fest as a cherished tradition offering students a platform to explore literature and enhance their creative abilities. Principal Arindam Roy Choudhury delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to dive into the vast realms of literature and creativity.
The competition featured various events in both English and Hindi. In the English segment, APS BD Bari secured first place in the Class 6 Fairy Tale Retelling and the Class 7 Ad Mad Show, while KC International School triumphed in Ink Imagica, a storytelling competition for Class 8. KC Public School impressed with their engaging broadcast in The Radio Show for Classes 9 and 10. GD Goenka Public School earned top honours in The Stage of the Bard for Classes 11 and 12, with a stellar Shakespearean performance.
In the Hindi events, GD Goenka excelled in ‘Laghu Katha’ (Class 6) and Samachar Vachan (Class 7), while APS BD Bari shone in Sahitya Prashnottari (Class 8) and the Ekanki competition for Classes 9 and 10.
GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, and APS BD Bari were crowned the overall champions, earning the prestigious Paragons of Lit Fest 2024 title for their exceptional performances.
