JAMMU, Oct 14: Heritage School once again demonstrated its excellence in sports by securing the overall second place at the Sahodaya Inter School Swimming Competition, held at Jodhamal Public School.
In the Under 14 Boys category, Pratyaksh Vir Parmar (Class V) clinched two gold medals in the 50m Butterfly and 50m backstroke, while Puneesh Puri (Class VIII) earned a gold medal in the 25m freestyle and a silver medal in the 50m freestyle.
In the Under 17 Boys category, Krishang Badial (Class IX) secured a gold medal in the 50m breaststroke and a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke. Azhaan Mushtaq (Class XI) won a silver medal in the 100m backstroke and a bronze Medal in the 50m backstroke, and Aryan Reyansh Singh (Class X) captured a silver medal in the 100m freestyle.
In the Under 14 Girls category, Pragani (Class V) brought home a silver medal in the 100m freestyle and a bronze medal in the 50m backstroke. Piyushi (Class VIII) added a silver medal in the 50m freestyle and a bronze medal in the 25m freestyle.
In the Under 17 Girls category, Tegmeet Kour (Class IX) dominated the pool, winning two gold medals in the 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle. Aditee Bargotra (Class XI) claimed a gold medal in the 50m butterfly and a silver medal in the 50m breaststroke.
Heritage School also excelled in team events, with the Under 14 Boys Medley Relay team of Pratyaksh Vir Parmar, Samridh Sharma, Riaan Puri, and Puneesh Puri winning the Gold Medal in the 4x50m Medley Relay. The Under 14 Girls Freestyle Relay team of Pragani, Dishita Chowdary, Piyushi, and Niksha secured a Bronze Medal in the 4x25m Freestyle Relay.
