RAJOURI, Mar 9: To provide platform to the budding students of different schools, the Rajouri Police organized Talent Hunt ‘Choona Hai Aasman at District Police Lines, here today.
About 60 students from Sunderbani, Nowshera, Kalakote, Dharamsal, Thannamandi, Darhal and Rajouri city participated in the event.
Rafina Akhter of Happy Home Higher Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar rocked in the event and won first prize in junior category, while Mehran Shah was adjudged first in senior category.
DIG Police Rajouri-Poonch Range, Ashok Kumar Atri was the chief guest on the occasion, while SSP Rajouri Mubassir Latiffi was the guest of honour, besides ASP Rajouri Shiv Kumar, DySP Hqr, Hameed, DySP Ops Zaheer Abbas, SHO Rajouri Jamwal and many prominent citizens witnessed the thrilling performance by the students.
DIG Atri while addressing the gathering congratulated the participants and assured them all help from the police in bringing out their hidden talent.
SSP Latiffi stated that police is organizing such talent hunts just to provide students a platform to expose their talents.
He further informed that the winners of this hunt will perform in Range Level Competition and the winner of Range Level will go for the State Level. Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Rajeev Sharma and Sabar Mirza were the adjudicators of the event.
