Students bring laurels to Humanity Public School

JAMMU, Jan 18: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana brought laurels to the school by winning 9 medals in the 9th National Matsogi-Do Championship organised by Matsogi-Do Association Of Delhi (MAD) at Rajeev Gandhi Stadium, Bhawana, New Delhi.
In the individual fights Navjyoti Verma and Meenu Khokhar, both from class 6th won Gold medals, whereas Neha Jaral of class 7th bagged Silver medal while as Deepak Kumar of class 4th and Yasmeen Akhtar of class 6th secured Bronze medals.
In group fights (Girls under-14), Shefali Attri of class 4th, Navjyoti Verma of class 6th and Neha Jaral of class 7th won Silver medals.
In Group Tuls event, Insha Malik of class 6th, Neha Jaral of class 7th, Navjyoti Verma of class 6th and Shefali Attri of class 4th won silver medals.
The students of the school who participated in this Championship were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak, Principal along with Anku Charak, Vice Principal, Pankaj Mehra, Coach, Jagpreet Kour, Coach, Akashdeep Raina, Incharge, Nitin Jamwal, Ajay Kumar & other staff members.
