JAMMU, Jan 5: Whites Cricket Club, Jammu defeated Shan Cricket Club, Reasi in an easy contest by 7 wickets in the ongoing Sadbhavana Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, Reasi.
Earlier, batting first, Shan Club bundled out for a paltry total of 70 runs in 17.1 overs. Deepu was the only batsman, who crossed double figure mark by scoring 13 runs, while extras contributed 14 runs to the total. For Whites Cricket Club, Sunny Bhan was the pick of the bowlers, who scalped 3 wickets, while Arjun and Sunny claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Whites Club scored the required runs in 11 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Vaneet top scored with 41 runs, while Arjun Bakshi contributed 11 runs to the total. Jagmohan, Aryan and Rocky claimed one wicket each for Shan Cricket Club. Sunny Bhan was adjudged man of the match for brilliant bowling display.
The match was officiated by Rajat and Shubam as umpires, while Varun was the scorer.
SHO Reasi, Rakesh Akram was the chief guest during the valedictory function, who presented man of the match award to Sunny Bhan of Whites Cricket Club for his splendid bowling display.
