Samar logs win in Mahant Bachittar Singh T20 Tourney

SIMBAL, Dec 24: Samar Cricket Club defeated RCC Jammu by 37 runs in the Mahant Bachittar Singh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Simbal Welfare Association at High School, here today.
Batting first, Samar Cricket Club scored 142 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Amrit Pal was the top scorer with 45 runs, while Sidharth and Vishwajeet contributed 39 and 19 runs to the total respectively. For RCC, Barun took 3 wickets, while Naresh and Jatin claimed 2 and one wicket respectively.
RCC, in reply bundled out for 105 runs thus lost the match by 37 runs. Vicky, Puneet Gupta and Rajan contributed 23, 20 and 19 runs to the total respectively. For Samar Club, Amrit Pal claimed 4 wickets, while Naushad and Sourav bagged 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Amrit Pal Singh was adjudged man of the match.
The match was officiated by Kulbit Singh Kali and Bablu as umpires, while Mattoo was the scorer.
