JAMMU, Sept 10: Anil Kumar of GHSS Sohal clinched gold in Under-14 boys discuss throw, while Mohd Nadeem and Roshan Singh bagged silver and bronze medals respectively in the ongoing Jammu District Inter-School Athletic Meet, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at University Grounds, here today.
In Under-17 boys discus, the gold medal went to Rohin while in Under-19 boys discus throw, Robin Singh of GHSS RS Pura bagged gold.
Javelin throw, Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 gold medals went to Nadeem, Rahul and Mohit Bharti respectively, while High jump Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 gold went to Raman Sharma, Rajinder and Varun Manhas respectively.
The gold medals in 1500 Mtrs Under-17 and Under-19 boys went to Zahoor Elahi and Yash Pal Tinku, while 400 Mtr Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 boys gold medal were bagged by Mohd Asif, Inderjeet Singh and Satinder respectively.
The Meet is being organized under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, DYSSO, Jammu and the matches were officiated by Chamel Singh, Nirmal Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Ram Murti, Vijay Kumar, Chanderveer Singh, Rohit Gupta, Vishal Bharti, Vaneet Pangotra, Satika, Anita Bhat, Manju Sharma and Harpreet Bhalla.
