Musical programme organised

JAMMU, Aug 9: Bhartiya Kala Sangam, Jammu organized a musical event today in the premises of Mubarak Mandi Complex, here today. The programme was sponsored by Department of Tourism, Jammu in which large audience enjoyed a variety of songs by renowned singers of the State.
On the occasion, Incharge Station Director, Radio Jammu Anjali Sharma was the chief guest while Director Tourism Soujanya Sharma was the guest of honour. T. R. Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Anjali Sharma said that such musical events are necessary and should be a regular feature in Mubarak Mandi Complex for promotion of Dogri culture so that the new generation gets acquainted with the Dogra culture. Soujanya Sharma appreciated the enchanting musical programme presented by Bhartiya Kala Sangam and assured the audience that such type of programme will be made a regular feature in Mubarak Mandi Complex.
Earlier, welcoming the audience, T. R. Sharma Chairman of Bhartiya Kala Sangam highlighted various cultural activities taken up by Bhartiya Kala Sangam and said that the forum of Bhartiya Kala Sangam is open for the artist for presenting their talent .
The programme was conducted by Rajini Sharma a renowned radio and TV anchor. Vote of thanks was presented by Ramesh Singh Chib Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam.
The artist who performed on the occasion were Tilak Raj Tagotra, Bishan Dass, Sonali Dogra, Surinder Manhas, Satinder Shanu, Chaman Mattoo, Suman Lata, Joginder Paul, Sahil Jasotra, Chandan and Rakesh Anand.
