JAMMU, Dec 23: Junior UT level Basketball Championship, organized by J&K Basketball Association, concluded at Basketball Arena, MA Stadium, here today.
In the women category, STC Warriors, Reasi and STC Terriers stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in the men’s category, STC Terriers prevailed in a nail biter over STC Warriors, whereas Jammu District won the 3rd place.
Nuzhat Ara, Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir and Mohd Shafi were the guests of honour, whereas Harjinder Singh and Sushma Jamwal were the chief coaches of the event.
The officials for the championship were Manoj, Abhishek, Shubham, Rohan Kunal, Amanjot, Jaskirat, Hritik and Anubhav.
At last, Dr Vikram Handa, secretary J&K Basketball Association announced the players selected for the camp for the upcoming Junior National Basketball Championship.
Ashok Singh Jamwal, treasurer of the Association, Aman Sharma Administrator SAI Stadia, Delhi and Satish Sharma were present during the event.
