UDHAMPUR, Nov 12: Construction work of toilet block at Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Bose Sports Stadium Udhampur was kick started, here today, by Councilor Priti Khajuria.
Neta Ji Subhash Chander Bose Sports Stadium is the only sports stadium of the city where activities related to sports and many other competitions are organized but still there is lack of many facilities in the complex due to which players of Udhampur district have to face many problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Priti Khajuria said that the construction of toilets in the stadium with an estimated cost of Rs 10 lacs, will provide a big relief to the players and morning walkers coming to the sports stadium. Besides, she added the surroundings area will also remain clean as no person will be forced to defecate in the open now.
The Councilor said that it would be her endeavor to complete the maximum development works of the ward on time so that the problems of the people could be reduced to some extent. Officers of the department were also present on the occasion.
