Gourav of Punjab lifts Saya Jagti Kesari title

KATRA, July 1: Wrestler Gourav of Mashiwada in district  Ludhiana  of Punjab lifted “107th  Annual Saya Jagti Kesari title 2013” by defeating Sunny of  Hossiarpur in Punjab  in the bout for the first malli that lasted  for  19 minutes at Saya Jagti near Nagrota.
The Vishal Dangal was organized by Peer Baba Saya Jagti Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
Winner of the main bout  Wrestler Gourav has awarded a cash prize of Rs 18,000 along with  “Patta” by chief guest, Ex MLA Shiv Dev Singh and president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma who was accompanied by Parveen Singh and Madan Lal, while runner-up wrestler Sunny got Rs 13,000.
In all 65 bouts were played in this one day long Dangal.
