JAMMU, June 5: Ten karatekas of All J&K Shito-Ryu Seifukan Karate Association won medals in the 29th All India Karate Championship for the categories of kumite and kata.
The gold medal winners in kumite included Abhijeet Singh Chib and Revati Nandan, both of whom won bronze in kata event, while the silver in kumite went to Amit Singh. Naresh Kumar, Mohit Singh, Manik Dhar, Ashish Jamwal, Vansh Partap Singh, Akshun Slathia and Nitin S Bharati claimed bronze medals in both kumite and kata categories.
Vikas Dhar, black belt 2nd Dan was coach of the team, while the team was received by Joginder Singh, Rajesh Sharma and Surinder Kumar Gupta.
