Senior National Soft Tennis C’ship begins

SRINAGAR, Mar 5: 17th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship for men and women commenced at Multi Sports Activity Centre of Gindun Stadium Rajbagh, here today.
Joint Secretary Kashmir and J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Ara were the chief guests of the inaugural function, whereas Executive Director Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, NG Vegda and Manager Gindun Sports Stadium, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar were the guests of honour on the function.
J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council is conducting the championship at different venues of Srinagar wherein more than 350 players from 32 States and Union Territories are participating in the championship.
The championship will culminate on March 8.
