ReK Teachers hold meet, discuss issues

POONCH, Feb 16: Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers held meeting under the chairmanship of State Spokesperson, Pervaiz Malik Afridi and discussed various issues pertaining to teaching community, here today.
They came here from different districts of the J&K UT with their district teams for Inter-district UT level Under-17 Boys Volleyball Tournament which is underway at Poonch. During the meeting, they discussed various issues including reduction of probation period and hike in monthly salaries.
They demanded two years probation period at par with other UTs of the country. They also appreciated senior Congress leader and former Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad for raising their issues on the floor of the Parliament before retirement.
They said that all the ReK teachers were working hard to achieve best results in different sports and game but the department concerned has utterly failed to consider their genuine demands which were pending since long time.
