Inter-wing sports meet concludes

UDHAMPUR, Jan 18: Inter-wing sports meet, organised by Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) culminated, here today.
The motive of the event was to promote sports culture among the trainees, Mohan Lal SSP, Assistant Director (Outdoor) was chief guest of the concluding ceremony. He interacted with both the teams and asked them to display their best skill.
The SSP said that the sports meet was organized on the directions of Director SKPA Udhampur/ADGP Security Dr SD Singh Jamwal for the trainee officers.
All the league matches were played with enthusiasms and enjoyed by the trainee officers.
The final match was played between Red Wing and Blue Wing wherein later was declared as winner. PSI Aziz Ahmed No.585/PAU was awarded with man of the match.
The SSP appreciated the efforts put in by the organizing team headed by DySP (Outdoor) Sunmati Gupta, assisted by CDI Inspector Shankar Bhadur, whereas Instructors HCs Bishan and Tahir Mir acted as umpires and PSI Vineet Rukwal, PSI Javeed Maqbool and Instructor HC Wahid were commentators of the final match.
Suraj Singh DySP (R&D), KK Sharma DySP (Q), Ramesh Kataria DySP(S), Tahir Hussain DySP (Admn), Vikram Parihar (PO) and Inspector Vishal Manhas RI of SKPA Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
