JAMMU, Dec 16: Rising Stars and Game Changer scripted wins in the ongoing KCSC Under-19 Tournament by defeating Jammu Tigers and Elite Club with 35 runs and seven wickets respectively, being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Today’s first match was played between Rising Stars and Jammu Tigers wherein Jammu Tigers won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first Rising Stars made 153 runs. Arjun Singh and Ritik Pandita scored 32 runs each, whereas Sanchit contributed 26 runs. From bowling side, Rahil Bhat took two wickets and Sagar bagged wicket.
While chasing the target, Jammu Tigers collapsed at 118 runs in 20 stipulated overs. Vadraksh and Rahil made 42 and19 runs respectively. From bowling side, Arjun Singh and Ritik Pandita shared two wickets each. Arjun Singh of Rising Stars declared as man of the match.
Another match was played between Elite Club and Game Changers. Elite Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Elite Club gave target of 104 runs. Paras Singh and Samar Singh made 32 and 22 runs respectively. From bowling side, Abhay clinched two wickets while Dhruv took one wicket.
In reply, Game changer won the match in 16.3 overs. From batting side, Yuraj Saini, Ansh Gandhral made brilliant 50 and 23 runs respectively. From bowling side, Ainesh, Smabak and Aditya took one wicket each. Yuvraj Saini of Game Changer was declared as man of the match.
