JAMMU, Dec 11: Sainik Colony defeated SFA while Young Star FC got walkover due to Kartar FC Samba didn’t turn-up in the ongoing 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association at GGM Science College Football Ground, here today.
The first match was played between Sainik Colony and SFA wherein Sainik Colony won the match by 3-0 goals wherein Amritpal Singh scored two goals including 1st goal at 3rd minutes of the game while 2nd goal at 40th minutes of the game and Bhanu secured 3rd goal of the game.
Shivam Kumar, Romesh Kumar, Vinay and Raju Khokhar were the referees of the match.
Pawan Sharma, DySP was the chief guest of the event while David Masih, Narinder Gupta, Moon Stephen, Sam Paul, Raju Sotra, Mohinder Kalsi, Bunty, Rajesh Sumbria, Bansi Lal, Satpal Singh (all Football coach) were also present during the event.
