SAMBA, May 5: The students of Naveen Shiksha Kendra, Bari Brahamana, sparkled in the Jump Rope Inter-School Championship 2013, organised by Jump Rope Association Jammu and Kashmir, under the auspices of Jump Rope Federation of India in the School premises, here today.
Over 150 students from different schools participated in the Championship, which was inaugurated by the chief guest, retired Principal, BS Slathia who highlighted the importance of games and sports on the occasion and encouraged the students for the games. The championship started with Saraswati Vandna by the students of Naveen Shiksha Kendra , Bari Brahmana .
The medals were distributed among the winners by Sukh Dev Singh Charak, Zonal Sports Officer and Arun Jamwal , SHO Bari Brahmana.
The medal winners included Hridyanshu Slathia, Isha Bamotra, Mitali Mehra, Ritika Sudan, Khushi Sudan, Uddit Khuller and Aman Rai (all gold), Muddit Khuller (silver), Raj Babu and Rahul Singh, bronze.
