7th District Wushu C’ship held

SRINAGAR, Oct 5:  7th District Wushu Championship was held in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district today. Near about 240 boys and girls of District Bandipora took part in the championship.
The championship was organized by District Wushu Association of Bandipora, which is affiliated with J&K Wushu Association.
The championship began at Boys Middle school Kulhama and on the opening ceremony the chief guest was Khursheed Shaheen, who is Activity Incharge Youth Services and Sports Bandipora.
During his interaction with the participants, he highlighted the importance and objectives of the sports in general and Wushu martial arts in particular. He suggested the young students both boys and girls for taking part in Wushu sports.
