JAMMU, Nov 25: The seventh day of Yuvtarang 2025-26, witnessed an engaging blend of theatrical depth and light-hearted humour as One Act Play and Mimicry competitions were hosted at MAM College.
Students from various constituent colleges showcased exceptional creativity, expressive talent and stage presence, making the day a vibrant celebration of performing arts.
In the One Act Play category, MAM College clinched the first position with a compelling performance, followed by GCW Gandhi Nagar securing second place and GGM Science College taking the third position.
The Mimicry competition kept the audience entertained throughout, with Aakash Katoch (MAM College), Krishan Bhat (MAM College) and Zaigham Salaria (GGM Science College) emerging as 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners respectively for their impressive impersonations, voice modulation and comic timing.
An esteemed panel of judges comprising Pankaj Khajuria, Kamal Razdan and Sudhir Mahajan evaluated the performances and appreciated the growing artistic potential of the students.
The events were conducted coordinated under the overall supervision of Prof D S Manhas, Dean Student Welfare, supported by Dr Davinder Kour, Dr Revika Arora, and the cultural convenors of various colleges.
Their collaborative efforts ensured smooth and successful execution of the competitions.
