JAMMU, Feb 26: Satish Vaid, aged 73, brought laurels by securing 6th place in the 70+ age category at the New Delhi Marathon. He completed the 10 km race in 1:06:33 (timing).
Speaking about his achievement, Vaid said, “I am a regular runner and have participated in marathons in Delhi, Mumbai, Janipur and other cities.” His consistent dedication to running and fitness serves as an inspiration to the senior community and aspiring runners. The marathon saw participation from a large number of runners across different age categories.
