JAMMU, Dec 9: Defying age, 73-year-old Satish Vaid from Jammu completed the 10 km race at the One Race Jalandhar Half Marathon on December 7 with an impressive timing of 58 minutes and 5 seconds.
The endurance-testing event saw participation from thousands of runners from across the country. A seasoned marathoner, Satish has previously competed in Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur Marathons, as well as Master Athletic Championships. His remarkable achievement brings laurels to Jammu and serves as an inspiration, proving that determination, perseverance and fitness know no age limits.
