JAMMU, Nov 4: Two days long 6th J&K State Rope Skipping Championship, organized by Rope Skipping Association of Jammu and Kashmir concluded.
In the Championship, 280 students from different schools including KC International School, Shangrilla Public School, Army Public School, Anuradha Mission Public School, International Delhi Public School, Delhi Public School, SOS Harman School, Presentation Convent School, KC Gurukul School, BSF School and GD Goenka School took part. Students of some institutions from Samba, Kathua, Srinagar, Reasi and Ladakh districts also took part.
On the valedictory function, Dr SB Bali Joint Secretary Indian Olympic Association, President- Indian Ice hockey Federation was the chief guest and Nitin Bhasin was the guest of honour, who honoured the winners.
The Championship was conducted under the Supervision of Danish Sharma.
In under-10 Speed Hop event (boys), Shivin Gupta, Abnip Singh and Tejosmay Katoch bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Radhika Sharma, Mahika Sharma and Nandita Gupta clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-12 Speed Hop event (boys), Gurkirat Singh, Divyansh Mahajan and Manan Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Kritika Gupta, Prathana Gupta and Anandi Sharma clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Speed Hop event (boys), Ojas, Krishna and Saksham Chandail bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Suhani, Shivika Abrol and Muskan bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 Speed Hop event (boys), Akarsh Tugnotia, Tarun Manhas and Arkaye Goswami bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Sneha Ganjoo, Vaishali Devi and Divyani Gupta clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-10 Speed Sprint 30 Sec event, Bhavishay Thakyal, Abnip Singh and Aarav Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-12 Speed Sprint 30 Sec event (boys), Anshul Maini, Krish Kumar and Shivankar Bali emerged winners, whereas in girls’ category, Sukriti, Raveena and Anandi Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Speed Sprint 30 Sec event (boys), Krishna, Lakshaydeep Sharma and Aradhya bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Kamadhya, Jaskiran and Ayushi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 Speed Sprint 30 Sec event, Harsh Sharma, Satvik Pandita and Tarun Manhas bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Arpan Pandita, Rishika Sharma and Yasmine Khan bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-12 Double (boys), Nitin Kumar, Ridhansh and Pavit Mohinder clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-14 category, Aarshin, Manik Sharma and Ujwal Singh Bhau emerged winners.
In under-17 Double, Aditya Sharma, Tabrej Ansari and Iftkar Ali bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Janvi Rajput, Gulnaz Khan and Durkasti Sharma clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
