JAMMU, Apr 2: The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) campus in Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, hosted the fourth TEDxMIET event.
The theme for this year was “DEFY,” which urged participants to go beyond what is generally thought to be possible and to push the boundaries and conventional norms.
The event kicked off with a welcoming speech from Dr. Ankita Nanda, the TEDx Curator and Head of the MBA Department. The group of speakers included six highly respected individuals, including retired Lt. Col Man Singh. With their distinct backgrounds and accomplishments, Col. Ranveer Singh Jamwal, Major Abhinandan Singh, Pranav Mahajan, Ashima Kaul, and Rigzen Wangmo offer a unique viewpoint on the topic.
Prof. Ankur Gupta, Director MIET, Prof. Ashok Aima, Prof. S.K Sharma, Prof. BC Sharma, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Devanand Padha, Prof. Sunita Zalpuri, Prof. Ajay Khajuria, Babar Afzal, Prof. Sahil Sawhney, Heads of Departments and Faculty members were also present on the occasion.
This was the fourth edition of the TEDxMIET event which has been taking place annually at MIET and serves to provide a platform to inspire the listeners and a call for affirmative action for all.
