DODA, May 26: Four wickets haul by Syed Imtiaz Hashmi helped Shaheen Cricket Club (SCC) Doda to register win over Bikheryan Cricket Club (BCC) by 9 wickets in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda in collaboration with Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda at Sports Stadium here.
Batting first after winning the toss, BCC scored paltry 65 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 15 overs. Shahbaz and Adil made 17 runs each, while Jahangir contributed with 13 runs.
From SCC side, Syed Imtiaz Hashmi was the wrecker-in-chief with 4 wickets, while Nadeem took 2 wickets.
In the second inning, SCC Doda chased the target easily in just 6.4 overs for the loss of just one wicket. Adil Malik was the highest scorer with 30 runs while Naveed Wani made 16 runs.
From BCC side, Akhtar Beg was the lone bowler, who clinched 1 wicket.
Syed Imtiaz Hashmi of SCC Doda was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
Hashmi was awarded by President Bar Association Doda Advocate Asim Hashmi, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Noushair Batt as umpires, while Rinku Bhaduria acted as scorer and Ashok Sharma (Video Analyst) was third umpire.
