Gulmarg, Feb 3: While all the organizations have cancelled their Ski Courses due to paucity of snow, IISM Gulmarg was able to conclude its 3rd Ski Course today.
An impressive graduation ceremony was held inside the institute where Major General Atul Kaushik, Commandant High Altitude Warfare School was the chief guest.
He gave away awards to the winners of different ski events during the courses.
Earlier, JS Dhillon, Principal of IISM presented welcome address.
He said that IISM has become the best Ski Institute of the Nation and of South East Asia.
There is a huge waiting list of the admission seekers. He told that institute provides best training under highly qualified Instructors. Students are provided best equipment of international standards and boarding & lodging in a centrally heated building.
General Kaushik in his address complemented the institute for maintaining an excellent standard of training and administration.
He said Mr. Dhillon has revived this institute after a long period of turmoil in the Valley and now this institute is one of the best ski schools in South East Asia.
Shfaq Afshan, Officiating Principal of DPS was the guest of honour.
