JAMMU, Aug 23: The 2nd UTT Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Table Tennis Ranking Championships 2025-26 commenced today with a grand opening ceremony.
The event was inaugurated by Satpal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council, who urged players to give their best and praised the growing popularity of table tennis in the region. Ajay Sharma, President of the Table Tennis Association of J&K, highlighted the championship’s role in preparing players for national competitions.
The championship is organized by the Table Tennis Association of J&K in collaboration with Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) and J&K Sports Council under the “MY YOUTH MY PRIDE” initiative.
Prominent attendees included Arshi (Manager Indoor Sports Complex), Satbir Singh, I.P Singh, Rajan Sharma, Menu Rajesh, Maninder Singh, Narinder Singh, Vasu Dewan, Sheetal Gandotra and coaches Gurvinder Singh Sasan and Asad Sharma from NIS.
