2nd J&K UT Bukido C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Nov 26: The 2nd J&K UT Bukido Championship 2025, hosted by KC International School in collaboration with the Bukido Association of J&K, concluded today with vibrant participation from young martial artists across the Union Territory.
The two-day event saw competitors from KC International School, Doon International School, D.V.N Higher Secondary School, S.S.M Jammu Public School, Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School, Shangrilla Public School, IDPS Ghou Manhasa and Ultimax MMA and Fitness Academy, Bandipora, Kashmir.
The championship was inaugurated by Anupama Sinha, Principal of KCIS and President of the Bukido Association J&K, who encouraged students to compete with discipline, focus, and integrity. Athletes displayed exceptional skills in striking, blocking, throwing, and ground techniques, making the preliminary rounds highly competitive.
The closing ceremony was graced by chief guest Zorawar Singh Jamwal, and guests of honour Chaitanya Chowdhary, Advocate Amit Gupta and Vasudev Singh. Founder Tarsem Sharma and Vice Principal Roma Gupta were also recognized for their contributions. The event concluded with a medal distribution ceremony, honouring winners in various categories and celebrating the determination, talent, and sportsmanship of J&K youth.
